Good Friday is the day Lord Jesus Christ was crucified and died on the cross. It was a bad Friday as someone was brutally tortured and killed. But it became a blessing and good news for us, humankind, as we are sinners and the death of Christ was a payment for our sins. Bad Friday became Good Friday.
Churches will hold worship services, thanking the Lord for his love and sacrifice for the human race.
