Rev. Dr. Richard Howell, one of the most visible, tallest and prominent evangelical leaders in the country and in the world, was kind enough to visit Olivet Centre, the headquarters of Olivet Assembly churches in South Asia – India, to the delight of the staff and trainees in the campus, on Thursday, August 24.
Upon arrival at the campus, Dr. Howell was greeted warmly and was shown the various buildings and amenities in the centre; and he interacted gracefully with the staff and trainees, and spoke about many important matters of faith and practices, especially about equality of men and women, explicating it for them from the scriptures with practical examples in great detail. He also encouraged them to learn much and to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to live for the glory of God, for which they are very grateful and inspired.
Rev. Dr. Richard Howell is Principal of Caleb Institute, an prestigious Caleb Institute in National Capital Region of Delhi; he also serves as the Executive Secretary of the Evangelical Council of Churches in India (ECCI), and had served for more than a decade as the General Secretary of Asia Evangelical Alliance (AEA), Evangelical Fellowship of India (EFI) as its general secretary for over two decades and a prominent voice among evangelicals in Asia and world today.
